Attention: my multi-talented, Women in Jazz Media colleague, jazz vocalist Fiona Ross is coming to Scotland this October, to perform an exclusive live acoustic set that will include material from her recent award-winning album ‘Thoughts, Conversations and To Do List’. In addition, three newly composed songs will be debuted at this Scottish mini-tour.

With a highly distinctive vocal style and engaging chat, she has become known for creating her own contemporary jazz sound using fast paced Latin Jazz, vintage jazz club and a little neo soul, along with heart wrenching ballads.

Fiona will be performing (vocals and accompanying piano) in trio with bassist Derek Daley and saxophonist Loren Hignell, and will appear at 3 Scottish venues: Whighams, Edinburgh on Saturday 12th October; Leith Depot, Edinburgh on Monday 14th October; and The Blue Lamp, Aberdeen on Wednesday 16th October.
