Brazil-born bassist Mario Caribé plays in some of the best jazz bands in Scotland, not least his own. Though Sidiki Diabate’s kora is a little loud compared to the other instruments in this Celtic Connections clip, it’s still worth a listen. Gorgeous, actually.
